GIVING BACK

Delta Three Oscar™ partners with various outreach programs and humanitarian organizations that serve our communities and empower wounded warriors so they can enjoy the very freedoms they fought so hard to protect.

We searched through hundreds of organizations and found the ones that actually make a difference: proud and honorable groups that give back even more than they get, putting their hearts and souls into serving and helping others live better than normal lives.

“They didn’t ask for special treatment. In fact many of those in need don’t want to be treated any differently, and just want to live their lives normally. These humble heroes deserve our recognition and our support. They’ve sacrificed so much for us; we don’t consider it a sacrifice to help them in any way we can.”

INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS

NIB

NIB is the nation’s largest employment resource for people who are blind, and through its network of associated nonprofit agencies, is the largest employer of people who are blind in the US. NIB creates opportunities for people who are blind to become wage earners and taxpayers, reducing their reliance on government support and increasing engagement with their communities.

Delta Three Oscar has partnered with two of NIB’s largest sub-agencies, IFB Solutions and VisionCorps, to create employment opportunities for the blind and visually impaired. These agencies and their employees play a critical role in meeting the impact protection needs of the US Department of Defense.

VisionCorps

VisionCorps is a leading non-profit organization on a mission to empower individuals who are blind or vision impaired to attain independence. This is done through rehabilitative, preventative and educational services, as well as by employing people who are blind in manufacturing, food processing, and administrative services.

Delta Three Oscar is proud to partner with and support VisionCorps to produce helmet suspension pads for the US Army’s SPS IHPS helmet program. In addition to employing a majority of under-sighted individuals to produce excellent quality work, we have also sponsored the VisionCorps Eye Drop 2021 rappelling event, raising funds to provide support to friends and neighbors who are blind or experiencing vision loss.

Industries for the Blind (IFB)

IFB Solutions started with a vision that goes beyond physical sight. And this vision is working - creating opportunities, building community and providing independence for people who are blind or visually impaired. People are at the center of everything IFB Solutions does. They are at the heart of their mission, and they are the foundation of their heritage.

Delta Three Oscar works in conjunction with IFB to meet the impact protection needs of the US Department of Defense. We leverage their special set of skills and create a win/win situation that allows for higher quality products and higher quality and independent lives. D3O is also proud to support in IFB Solutions’ annual fundraising efforts, to help fund life-changing training programs and services for adults and children who are blind or visually impaired.

Warrior Protection & Readiness Coalition (WPRC)

WPRC is the voice of advocacy for the individual and unit level equipment needs of the warfighter. WPRC consists of leading American manufacturers and suppliers of the US military that represent an industrial base capability critical to national security delivering superior tactical equipment, apparel, armor, and technology to the warfighter. The organization provides a unified industry voice working to sustain the new standard of innovation and warfighter capability born from ongoing counterinsurgency conflicts.

Delta Three Oscar has worked with the Warrior Protection & Readiness Coalition by advancing its mission to support warfighter readiness, and ensure that American service members train and fight with superior protective gear. We support and contribute to the WPRC efforts through our active membership and by providing information and business and political connections to further the WPRC mission.

Torn Warriors

Torn Warriors empowers and enables disabled veterans and active-duty service members through off-road motorsports and other activities. The non-profit seeks to provide disabled veterans and active-duty service members a sense of normalcy and pride through participating in and enjoying sports and events previously unavailable to them due to injury. Through human or mechanical assistance and modification, Torn Warriors enables veterans to compete or participate in local, regional, or national events while also serving as a living representation of sacrifice for the nation, demonstrating to the communities and the public the definition of true grit and resilience.

Delta Three Oscar has supported Torn Warriors through collaboratively promoting impact protection for the military, and its benefits, documenting their work and spreading their message in the process.
